SHORT FILMS!

Using short films is a great and engaging way to boost comprehension skills. They are perfect for helping your student to understand and focus on different theme concepts, main idea, describing, inferencing and even emotions! These short films are almost all wordless and allow your students to just watch and then describe the stories in their own words. Most of these films have a ‘Giving Back’ or ‘Be Kind’.

Worksheets for specific short films. One worksheet is open ended questions and one that is multiple choice. You can pick and choose depending on the level of your students. Or you can use multiple choice to get down the basic comprehension and then an open ended worksheet to describe and infer from the story.
